Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Oil-free, salt-free baked sweet potato fries. Right out of the oven. Sweet potato fries are delicious. And a little while ago, I was craving them like no other. Well, that, and also, we almost always have sweet potatoes lying around the house. Instead of steaming them per usual, I decided to make little fries out of them. Although not as crispy as the actual oil-fried sweet potato fries, these oil-free ones satisfied my craving and were a different kind of (not to mention, much healthier) delicious. Before all of the fries went on the baking sheet and before the fries went in the oven. Sweet Potato Fries  Directions... 2 Large Sweet Potatoes Black Pepper Paprika Parsley Flakes Instructions... 1. Heidi Klum's Italian Villa In Brentwood, L.A.

Photo By: Nick Springett from WSJ - Real Estate It has been a while since I have looked at houses online (which is one of my hobbies, looking at beautiful houses, the architecture, main design, and interior designs of them). I was looking around Wall Street Journal - Real Estate and saw this post, "Heidi Klum Lists in L.A. for $25 Million" . Right away, I clicked. The article title intrigued me, but mostly the icon image of the home was what caught my eye the most. From that small image, I saw lush green all over the entirety of the home. I have not seen such a thing before, so my curiosity brought me to look further into the home. The article's author, Candace Taylor, stated that "the model and television personality purchased the property in 2010 for $14.2 million" and also "spent more than six months renovating the home". Take a look at some of the photos of the "some 12,300 square feet" home... This is the library. Thought it was a livi

Newsworthy News

Hello, Long time no see. I've been pretty MIA lately (due to an extreme case of Thanksfeasting coma), but no worries, I am finally fully revived. I know that whilst gone, I missed out on a lot of things, so I caught up on the news to keep me in check with what's been going on in the world. A majority, if not all, of the articles I read were fascinating and informative. You know, really served their purpose. However, I kept track of the ones that truly stood out to me in which I deemed to be most important in knowing. Today, I will share those very special and key pieces with you. Note that they were elemental in getting me up to date with current events. 1. Let's start off with this... "Where is she going with this?" I promise it's greatly informative. Who's legs are those? The ones with the high heeled platform booties. Answer: Beyonce's. According to this article , the author said  " we'd recognize those legs anywhere!" But, uh oh, I

Pop Of Pink

There is something about midi-skirts that catches my eye right now. Not too short, not too long. The length is casual, yet slightly formal. It seems like it has the perfect balance between everything. For this outfit, I saw the J.Crew skirt and had to pair it with other items for a summer look. So because the skirt has feminine laser-cut details, I decided to do white-on-white - it's pretty refreshing. The top would be tucked into the skirt and it would make the skirt/tank combo very airy/flowy and it adds some casualness to it. Finally, the shoes. Oh, the shoes. The "Pop of Pink" is the shoes. How gorgeous are the shoes? They're strappy sandals, suede, and the perfect shade of bright hot pink. The gold embellishment adds a touch of glamour. These sandals definitely complete the all-white look for a colorful, casual, and put together summer look. Mason Jar Goodness

Strawberry pineapple smoothie in... a mason jar I love mason jars. I really do. They are so versatile. You can put food in them, you can decorate them, you can put drinks in them, you can do basically anything with them. What I do just about 100% of the time with the mason jars around our house is fill them up with either a) water, b) smoothies, c) juices, or d) fruit. It is so convenient that I just dump either of the mentioned things into a mason jar, cover it with the cap, and then take them to-go. Take a look at some of the things I fill my mason jars with... Well, food. For example, the mason jars in this post are all from finished/emptied/cleaned out spaghetti sauce jars. Basically all you have to d

Feeling Neutral & Peachy

This outfit is polished, yet cool and casual. The colors are neutral and peachy, giving it a very feminine vibe. The wide-legged, high-waisted pants accentuate the legs and tucking the breezy/loose tank in allows for the loose shirt, loose pant combo to give your body more shape.
