Hot Pink Dresses

Well, well, well, what do I have here? Another post with pink  in it. I just love pink. Mostly, baby pink. But in this case, it's all about hot pink. Let's keep the post short and sweet today: five gorgeous, hot pink dresses from Net-A-Porter ... stunning! xo, I Michael Lo Sordo Jason Wu Oscar de la Renta Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Rodriguez

8 Recipes with Eggs

All photos in this post are from Bon Appétit. Boiling eggs in bulk is fantastic. It's quick and easy... Gently place eggs into a pot before pouring water in the pot to prevent the eggs from cracking prematurely. Make sure that the water goes over the eggs about an inch or so. Turn on the stovetop to medium-high to high heat. Once the water is brought to a rolling boil, turn off the heat, and cover the pot for about 10 minutes or so. Timing may vary due to egg size as well as your desired yolk texture - I prefer mine to be well-done. Then, pour the water out, and rinse the eggs with cold water several times. Alternatively, place them in an "ice bath" - I just didn't have ice, so I just rinsed the eggs with cold water. The end result is a perfect batch of boiled eggs... no overcooking or green rings around the yolks, hooray. I made 12 yesterday and now I conveniently have boiled eggs to snack on or to add to meals. Well, actually I made deviled eggs from some of them an

11 Arlington Street | London

All photos: Mansion Global. This one showcases the floor-to-ceiling curtains... I love floor-to-ceiling curtains. Do I post on Sundays? Or even on weekends? Not usually. But this London apartment made me feel some type of way... it made me feel like blogging, naturally. The grey-neutral monochromatic interior look is one of my favorites. It would be so comforting to come home to. From the furniture to the curtains to the lighting, the apartment also has a modern-glam-luxurious look... another one of my favorites. The apartment is 2,444 square feet - 3 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms - and is listed at $12,406,524. Note: I have yet to go to London, and can't wait to visit someday. *Starts working on British accent* xo, I The kitchen. The circular lighting over the island adds character to the apartment, as does the dining room lighting fixture in later photos. One thing to note: I absolutely love large kitchens and this one is more on the compact side. Still beautiful though. His close

Herbed Cauliflower Rice

Photo Credit: Bon Appétit (R)ice, (r)ice, baby.  You know it. Rice. And rice. And, more rice. It is relatively easy to make and fills me up. However, it is high in carbs. There are 45 grams of carbs per cup of brown rice, the type of rice I eat most frequently. 45. That's quite a bit! Brown rice is widely considered to be a "healthy carb" and while I do eat my fair share of carbs, I am also interested in low-carb alternatives. A trendy food nowadays is cauliflower, especially in replacement of rice. How so? Toss cauliflower pieces into a food processor, let the food processor do its thing, and the cauliflower will magically turn into a fine, rice-like texture... making it a healthier, low-carb rice alternative. How simple - and great - is that? So simple. So great. So wow. Also, I was in a grocery store the other day and saw pre-packaged "cauliflower rice" which seemed convenient as well. But if you own a food processor, you can make it in the comfort of your ho

Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress

Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress Happy Monday! (And, Happy February!) I am a big fan of dresses. Although I don't wear them often right now, I definitely should since dresses are throw-on-and-go pieces. Super easy and there is no problem with any indecision about what to mix-and-match for an outfit. ( Which pair of jeans? Which blouse? Which sweater? Which color combo? Etc. etc. You know, those very important, deep-thinking-required type of questions you are faced with daily... ) Plus, many dresses are stylish and comfortable. I say "many" because I've tried on dresses before that were stunning, but, sadly, highly uncomfortable. Picking the right size, fit, and style of a dress is crucial. (As is with any other clothing...) Having the perfect combination of those is what makes a dress one that I will wear repeatedly. I saw this  ruched long sleeve dress online, and I like the look of it. It's casual and seems as if it would be comfortable (cheers to optimism, espe
