A Snack on the Run for Busy Bees

Haaappy Monday. What a relaxing weekend... that was just the right antidote for an I've-been-running-uptown-downtown-all-the-way-around-town-now-I'm-hashtag-dead kind of week. Friday night, Saturday, Sunday: decompress, recharge, and prep for the next week ahead. This AM: *dancing to Blue October's "I Hope You're Happy"* - one of my fave songs!

Anyway, on those busy bee days, when you find that there is minimal time to sit down to enjoy a meal or put in the effort to cook (sigh, I really do wish I could cook different recipes all day!), this tuna salad snackpack is a lifesaver. I found the 12-pack - which is just under $12 - on Amazon and ordered it to try. Side note: thank you, Jeff, for giving me the opportunity to order something relatively random from Prime nearly every millisecond of the day. (Real life photo of me playing Jenga with my Amazon Prime boxes.)

Other than the flavor of the tuna salad being rather tasty, this little snackpack saves sooo much time - e.g., no need to cook for 2hrs and then consequently wash dishes for 20hrs, no need to stand in line to buy a snack/lunch while scrolling through the latest Insta-updates of food/puppy-stagrams, no need to be anxiety-ridden while impatiently waiting for Seamless, etc. etc., the list goes on and on. It is packaged compactly so it's easily transportable - stuff it in your purse, in your sleeve, wherever your tuna-loving-self desires... not to mention, no spillage or leaks. And wherever you are, all you do is open and eat... super quick and easy! It's supposed to be a snack, but you can also eat this for lunch; I find it to be sufficiently filling with the crackers/tuna on their own, although mixing them with a salad or topping the tuna on a slice of bread are alternative options as well.

Naysayers of packaged food... disregard this post because this is canned tuna pre-mixed with condiments and seasonings. Naysayers of carbs or simple carbs... disregard this post because the crackers are carby white flour crackers similar to Ritz. Keep these in mind for those who have dietary restrictions. But really, the convenience this snackpack provides just makes it a winner. I love it so much that I have a bunch stocked in my kitchen cabinets... it's my go-to and I'll for sure reorder more once I run out!
