1945 Green St | San Francisco

Another day, another beautiful house sighting. I know the interior design of listings is mostly staging, but thank goodness for staging because it makes all the difference when it comes to showcasing a home.

For this house on 1945 Green Street in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco - listed at $12,750,000 - the interior design has a bit of a contemporary feel to it. The muted colors mesh well with the white walls and light hardwood flooring. There are plenty of windows to bring in natural sunlight, not to mention the abundant ceiling lighting in the main living areas (which are reminiscent of large stars, if large stars existing in a house was a thing). The kitchen is open-plan which is unsurprising since the entirety of that floor is open-plan, from the living room, to the dining room, to the kitchen, leading to another seating area. The ceilings are high and there are glass sliding doors to reveal outdoor balconies from the living areas as well as the bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own cozy seating area as well as sliding doors that open up to a large, outdoor seating/patio area. How great would it be to wake up in the morning and drink a cup of coffee while sitting outside and taking in the fresh air? It'd be a refreshing start to the morning. The bathrooms have white, marbled walls - in general, one of my favorite design features. The house also has a lounge floor, with a pool table and small bar area. It connects to a lower-leveled room, which I think should definitely be transformed into a theater room of some sort. With 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, this near-8,000 square feet, 3-story house is expansive and spacious. There is definitely room to brainstorm more design ideas...

xo, I

Master bedroom. Note the neat ceiling lighting as well as the cozy seating area.

The glass doors slide open to a nice outdoor patio. I would put a treadmill there to workout in the morning. As well as a coffee machine. ;)

I am a huge fan of floor-to-ceiling glass showers. And white-marbled walls.

How lovely is this outdoor patio. This photo also emphasizes the ceiling lighting of the house - unique, relatively minimalistic and simple, yet stunning.

Nice white-marble look in this bathroom.

Laundry room adjacent to the lounge/game room.

Lounge/game room with small kitchen/bar area. Perfect for entertaining guests.

The lower-leveled room that connects to the lounge/game room. I see this as becoming a theater room.

The open floor plan flows so nicely in this house. The spaces are not crammed and each is distinct. There are also many windows allowing for natural lighting to enter the house.

The all-white kitchen is beautiful. Plenty of storage and there is kitchen island seating. The island is fairly large for counter space... love that.
