Nerai, a Greek restaurant on E 54th between Madison/Park, reminded me that I've always been a fan of eating gallons of hummus Mediterranean food... We sat upstairs in a cozy booth and ordered their hummus, meatballs, orzotto, and scallops - what the dishes were actually called, respectively: Revithada me Hummus, Soutzoukakia, Orzotto Thalassino, Xtenia me Panseta. (I basically know a new language now...) Everything was yummy, but if I had to choose a favorite, it'd have to be the scallops. Others I'd want to try: their tuna tartare - Tuna Tartare, octopus - Xtapodi sit Skara, lobster pasta - Astakomakaronada, the other seafood dishes, chicken - Kotopoulo Lemonato, and duck - Papia Moussaka.
